Motorsport is probably born to people and the region - because hardly anywhere else can you meet so many people who are so enthusiastic about motorsport as in the Mur Valley in Styria.
No wonder that there are numerous museums on the subject of cars, agricultural machinery, planes and much more. there are that many private individuals are themselves active in their "Schrauber Schuppen" to restore old cars or tractors and make them roadworthy.
The heart of the motorsport region is, of course, the Red Bull Ring, which once again activates hundreds of thousands of people a year when it returns to Formula 1 in 2014. Here you will also find numerous opportunities to get active yourself - whether with driving experiences, "guided tours" or simply as a spectator at the numerous events that take place away from the big crowd.
For everyone who is enthusiastic about engines and horse power, the Spielberg region is at least worth a visit.
