Big Ringkogel from the Gaalreiter

Tour 18a - 10.8 km - 1050 m elevation gain - 6 hours - difficult tour

We hike from the Gaalreiter farm on a forest road and descend to the Ringkogel. Through forest and clearings you reach the summit of the Reppenstein, which is characterized by large boulders. From there, a flat trail leads to the Kleiner Ringkogel (2110m) and a steeper one to the Großer Ringkogel (2277m). From the stone pyramid you have a very good all-round view.

CONCLUSION: Fantastic peaks and views reward the ascent in the Murtal in Styria.
