Big Bösenstein round - heavenly place 7

Tour 67a - 8.2 km - 900 m elevation gain - 3:45 hours

From the Edelrautehütte, the well-marked path leads through a pine forest past the large Scheibelsee. It continues in hairpin bends through a steep rubble channel on the east ridge of the Großer Bösenstein. This is climbed via a clearly recognizable little climb that leads to boulders and rubble. If you are fit enough, you can return via the Kleiner Bösenstein (2395 m) and the Großer Hengst (2159 m) to the Edelrautehütte. This beautiful tightrope walk ("Langermannweg") is also well marked. From the Großer Bösenstein a path leads in a south-westerly direction to a saddle and from there uphill to the Kleiner Bösenstein, further on the ridge to the Großer Hengst, from which the descent to the Edelrautehütte takes place in steep bends.

Conclusion: A promising hike in the Murtal
