Hut stopover
Whether after a hike or an excursion into the Murtal mountains, a stop at one of the numerous huts or snack stations is simply part of the experience.
While the southern Styrian Buschenschanken are only allowed to sell their own products, our huts offer delicacies from the entire region. The classic is of course the Brettljause with Murtaler Steirerkäse or the Kaiserschmarrn. Sometimes you can get the famous Almkaffee (alpine coffee) at the hut, which has nothing to do with coffee at all. Bear in mind that our huts are not mass-produced establishments. That's why the menu is also very small or you have to ask what the hut keepers offer or can recommend. You will enjoy it.
