From Vienna via the S36 to Judenburg, then via the B114 to St. Johann am Tauern. From the west, Upper Austria or Germany via the A9 to Trieben, then via the B114 to St. Johann am Tauern
From the church in St. Johann am Tauern, we pass the Kirchenwirt inn next to the elementary school, where we find the signposts pointing east.
A narrow asphalt road takes us to the fork in the road where the hiking trails to the two peaks mentioned above divide.
