Start your hike "In harmony with nature" at the Tauernwindpark Oberzeiring.The Tauernwindpark Oberzeiring is one of the highest wind farms in Europe.For hiking enthusiasts, the wind farm is just the start of a wonderful day in the mountains.The ascent to the Schießeck offers a great experience amidst rare meadow flowers and alpine bushes. The ascent is rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Pölstal mountains.

In the Pölstal, we are particularly concerned about the preservation of unspoiled nature. So that the pleasure of the people does not become a problem for wild animals and nature, it requires consideration measures.
For the sake of nature and the environment, correct behavior in the mountains is the top priority for the hiking enthusiast.
- Use the designated parking areas
- Do not block access roads and please respect local driving regulations
- Observe information boards at the starting points and stick to the recommended marked routes
By car you can take the Höhenstraße to the Tauernwindpark and park your car at the parking lot of the Klosterneuburgerhütte.(toll road - € 5.00 per car)
The trail begins at the Klosterneuburgerhütte and leads in a NW direction over the Schönberg (1943 m) to the Tanzstattkapelle (1907 m). You walk over flower fields, where in spring the small rock roses form a pink carpet, continuing along a clearly visible path up the mountain ridge over the Kleiner Zinken (2135 m) to the Hoher Zinken.From the Hoher Zinken you reach the Schießeck via the Grillerlucke.
This tour is NOT considered "accessible by train and bus" because there is no regular connection.
